The fixtures seen within
the section obliques are
ones modeled after a
preliminary conceptual
project done early on
within the semester.
The prompt was to
create twelve sketches
and textiles that was
personal to my own life.
It is within my personal
sumi ink sketches that I
projected some of my
deepest friendships
and relation-ships
in a simple painting
tied to the shape and
expression of the stroke.
Some of these paintings
would ultimately be
carried into my final
design for our semester
project through the
manifestation of a
fixture or installation
within the Beg and
Borrow Creative
Complex.
