1. Elements
The elements of nature could
be simplified into three main
divisions: nature on land, nature
in water, and light that allows
nature to fully prosper. These
elements were divided into
three autonomous wells.
2. Land / Sea
To encapsulate these elemental wells, two bracketed forms dedicated
to the element of land and the element of sea are bound together to
convey one element’s codependency on the other. The western form
dedicated to land is raised above the eastern form dedicated to sea.
The placement of these forms on the site ultimately informs where the
features of these elements are placed such as all vegetation being
placed on the eastern side of the home and all water elements placed
on the western side.
3. Light
The element of light ultimately
informs where openings are
placed in that each well has
their own autonomous picture
window where all other frames
converge axially with the
central light well.
